Aerospace, the European way

EuMAS
is a two-year MSc programme jointly offered by five European aerospace schools: Università di Pisa (Italy), Technische Universität München (Germany), Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (Spain), Institut Supérieure de l'Aéronautique et de l'Espace (ISAE-Supaero) of Toulouse (France), and Cranfield University (United Kingdom).

EuMAS provides world-class education in the aerospace engineering field, preparing students to start a successful professional activity as Aerospace Engineers. Students may choose one of two parallel options, Aeronautical Engineering or Space Technology. The qualification acquired opens the way to careers in the aeronautics and space industry; Agencies, government bodies, international organizations which are direct involved, or that interact with, the aerospace business at large; research laboratories working in the aerospace field; non-aerospace industries and research laboratories which make use of technology and methods derived from the aerospace sector.

EuMAS is one of the 17 masters courses selected by the European Commission Erasmus Mundus programme in 2005. The course is hosted at different locations among the five schools for first and second year. Successful students are awarded a double degree in Aerospace Engineering by the two host universities. The titles awarded, fully recognized across Europe and abroad, give access to doctoral programmes.

The next edition of EuMAS (fifth cycle - EuMAS 2009) will be hosted by Technische Universität München (Germany) for the first year (2009/10) and Cranfield University (UK) for the second year (2010/11).
