European Tradition and Advanced Research

The EuMAS Consortium includes five primary European schools in the field of aerospace sciences. The partners have many decades of background in aeronautics and space, with a long record of collaboration with industry; all are located in culturally and historically rich European towns. Through full integration of teaching and research, the five schools have managed to bring together different traditions and different specialization in a unique course programme.

The five schools are members of two major international networks: PEGASUS, a gathering of the top European universities in aerospace; and ECATA, the European Consortium for Advanced Training in Aeronautics.

The main non-academic patner of EuMAS is the European Space Agency (ESA). Through its ISS Utilisation Strategy and Education Office, ESA provides scholarships for European students, stage opportunities at its establishments in the Netherlands, and a series of lectures on space technology topics by outstanding specialists.
