Fees and Grants

Starting from the 2010 class, EuMAS tuition fee is 8,000 EUR per year for non-EU students and 4,000 EUR per year for nationals of the 27 EU Member States. Tuition fees include all university taxes needed to enroll at the two hosting institutions of each cycle and to get full access to all students' services. Travels, books, accommodation and living expenses are not included. The EuMAS Office, together with the International Offices of the hosting universities, will assist the students for all matters related to accommodation, travel and residence permits.

"Non-EU students" are defined as nationals coming from all countries other than the 27 EU Member States (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom), the EEA-EFTA States (Island, Liechtenstein and Norway) and the candidate countries for accession to the EU (presently Croatia, Turkey, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia-FYROM); who are not residents of any of the above countries; and who have not carried out their main activities (studies, work, etc.) for more than a total of 12 months over the last five years in any of the above countries.

Partial or total fee waiver grants may be awarded by the EuMAS consortium on the basis of merit. A number of grant opportunities for both EU and non-EU students are also available, based on sponsorship from the hosting Universities, the European Space Agency (ESA), European industry and other institutions.
