News in Erasmus Mundus 2008
Two important news from the European Commission: 1) no more than 3 applications to different Erasmus Mundus courses from the same student, 2) number of Erasmus Mundus grants for 2008/9.
Two important news from the European Commission for the 2008/9 cycle of Erasmus Mundus were communicated during the Erasmus Mundus Master Courses Seminar 2007, "Reaching new frontiers in excellence" (28 to 30 November 2007, Brussels):
- as of the academic year 2008/2009, the number of applications by third country students must be limited to three Erasmus Mundus Masters Courses maximum. In the eventual case that a student applies to more than three EM Courses he/she will be excluded from the selection for an Erasmus Mundus Scholarship;
- the Asian and ACP windows will not be available for 2008/9. The number of Erasmus Mundus grants will be 18 for the "general category" (all third-country nationals) and 1 for the "Western Balkan category"(nationals of Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, FYROM, Kosovo, Montenegro or Serbia).
